To install Torizon 6.6 on your iMX6ULL using the Toradex Easy Installer, you would typically look for the specific version of the Torizon OS image that is compatible with the Easy Installer. According to the context provided, Toradex offers images for offline installation, which can be useful if the image is not available directly on their online servers or if your network setup restricts access.
To find the Torizon 6.6 image compatible with the Easy Installer, you should:
- Visit the Toradex website and navigate to the section for Torizon OS images.
- Look for the specific version (6.6 in your case) under the Torizon OS Quarterly Releases or Older Releases if it’s not the latest.
- Download the image to a USB flash drive or SD card.
- Use the Toradex Easy Installer to flash the image onto your iMX6ULL module.
If the image is not readily available on the website, you might need to contact Toradex support for assistance in obtaining the specific version you need.
Please, also check if these links can help you solve your problem:
Hello @fabrizio.camagna,
The images can be found in Download Links | Toradex Developer Center
For older quarterly releases, such as 6.6.1, you need to select the “Torizon 6 older quarterly releases” tab and navigate the file structure to the module you are using.
In this specific case, it will be under the following path: https://artifacts.toradex.com/artifactory/torizoncore-oe-prod-frankfurt/kirkstone-6.x.y/release/14/colibri-imx6ull-emmc/torizon-upstream/torizon-core-docker/oedeploy/torizon-core-docker-colibri-imx6ull-emmc-Tezi_6.6.1+build.14.tar

When I extract the image and put on the usb during installation easy installer tells me that it doesn’t find .zst file
Hello @fabrizio.camagna,
Can you give me more details on what error you are seeing?
Also, please make sure to put the full decompressed folder in the flash drive, not only its contents.
Best Regards,
Bruno
The problem is that the name of the image file in the image.json file is wrong. The name of image doesn’t have .zst extension, changing extension it works
Hello @fabrizio.camagna,
Looking at the image.json
file from the image I sent the link to, you can see the full correct file extension, including the .zst
:
"filename": "torizon-core-docker-colibri-imx6ull-emmc.ota.tar.zst",
The full file is attached for reference.
image.json (1.4 KB)
Do you see something different in your image?
Best Regards,
Bruno
