According to the Riverdi SM-RVT101HVDNWC00-B datasheet, this display uses a MIPI DSI video interface. While the Apalis iMX6 does support MIPI DSI, that interface is not part of the standard Apalis interfaces, and therefore the signals are not routed to any external connector on the Ixora board. I also sent an email to Toradex to see if there is any combination of SoM, carrier board, and cables that will allow me to use the much cheaper Riverdi display. I am hoping to not have to go back to the very expensive Noritake display.

You can use that display with any Verdin module and either the Mallow or Ivy carrier board. For connecting, you can use the Riverdi cable or any other FFC cable with 34 pins and a 0.5 mm pitch
