Use TCB to include Cortex-M firmware

After a TorizonCore image has been built using TCB, the firmware for Cortex-M can be manually added following the instructions from @hfranco.tx here:

  • unzip TorizonCore image
  • move Cortex-M binary inside TorizonCore image folder
  • edit the image.json to copy the binary when Toradex Easy Installer is going to install the image
  • edit u-boot-initial-env-sd to automatically start the auxiliary core

I would like seein TCB improved so that it can be configured to handle these tasks automatically.
And annd new fields to tcbuild.yaml to configure this behavior.

Hi @vix,

Hi @vix,

The ticket for the feature request was created internally with the TorizonCore team. Because it just got created, we don’t have any prioritization or timeline that I can share now, but I will update you on any news.

Thanks!

Hiago.

Thanks @hfranco.tx

I missed one customization to u-boot-initial-env-sd:

  • fdt_high=0xffffffffffffffff
    as you explained here.
