Torizoncore 6.5 on Easy install

We just got one of these for evaluation:
Verdin iMX8M Plus 4GB WB IT V1.1A

I cannot this version of TorizonCore for Easy Install (they only show 5.7)

It was available on my board, but I’ve been reimaging due to numerous wrong decisions.

TorizonCore Builder not available in Visual Studio Code

I cannot see the TorizonCore Builder template as an option for a new project in Visual Studio Code. I have the extension installed (V1.4.0) and it seems to be working fine for application development and debugging. Greetings @geeday,

On Easy Installer we only show the latest released versions for each major version by default. For the 6.X series this would be 6.8.0 at the time of writing. If you want the older released versions like 6.5.0, you need to download them from here: Download Links | Toradex Developer Center

Then you can follow the instructions to put the older version on a USB stick and use Easy Installer to install this.

Is there a specific reason you want to flash the old 6.5.0 release?

thanks for the reply.
I was looking for 6.x with evaluation containers. After i reflashed the board with Easy installer, this wasn;t an option.
it turns out, i didn’t actually need it and the base TorizonCore was what i needed so i could develop with VS Code and containers.

Yes any default TorizonCore/Torizon OS image will have support for containers.
