IMX8M-MINI + Mallow : No HDMI Output, Easy Installer is not working

I am currently using the iMX8M-MINI SOM and Mallow boards.

I am facing two issues:

1. When connecting an HDMI cable to the Mallow board, the monitor does not display anything. The monitor shows a “No Signal” message.
2. When I check the system through SSH, I can log in without any issues, so I believe the board is functioning properly.
3. To resolve this problem, I tried reinstalling the image using the Toradex Easy Installer.
   (Reference: Toradex Easy Installer Recovery Mode Documentation)

During the first attempt, I was able to connect using VNC Viewer. However, after installing the image and re-entering Recovery Mode to connect with VNC Viewer again, it failed to connect.

Upon checking, I noticed that only the POWER LED on the Mallow board was lit. LEDs 3 and 4 were not lit, and there was no Ethernet link activity. This makes me suspect that the system is not booting properly.

4. My assumption is that the system is failing to boot properly in Recovery Mode.

Questions:

1. What could be the possible causes for HDMI output not working?
2. If the Toradex Easy Installer does not function properly, is there an alternative method to rewrite the image using an SD card or another medium? (I tried searching on the developer site but could not find the relevant information.)

HDMI No Signal - Verdin iMX8M Mini with Dahlia Carrier

Upon first booting the Verdin IMX8M Mini on a Dahlia carrier board according to the guide here: Unboxing and Setup Cables - Dahlia Carrier Board, we received no hdmi signal on our hdmi lcd panel. We tried two panels with no signal found for either. We followed the instructions verbatim, with the 12V 2A power plug, ethernet, USB-C debug, mouse, keyboard, and hdmi plugged in prior to boot. I found that IMX8M-MINI doesn’t support HDMI output
“Note that tha Mallow carrier board HDMI is only compatible with Verdin iMX8M Plus modules”

So only Toradex Easy Installer is the only issue left.
I followed AI suggestions but it doesn’t solve the issue.
there’s no /var/volatile/tezi.log.

I solved the issue myself and am sharing my experience for anyone who encounters the same problem.
I was unable to recover the Toradex Easy Installer on Windows OS because the recover-windows.bat script didn’t work properly, as Windows couldn’t detect the driver correctly. However, I was able to detect the “NXP Semiconductor SE Blank M845” and successfully recover the Easy Installer using Ubuntu.

My assumption is that the system is failing to boot properly in Recovery Mode.

First, you should always be able to put the device on recovery mode, so the problem is mostly likely on loading the Toradex Easy Installer (Tezi) image.
