HDMI is not working in Verdin imx8mp (TorizonCore V5.7.3)

Hello,

I installed a version 5.7.3 of torizoncore docker image on my Verdin imx8mp board and noticed that HDMI no longer works.
I found on your site a forum that talks about the same problem for the Apalis board and it says there is hardware limitation from some version.

I would like to know for my card, it is from which version HDMI is no longer supported and which version should I install to still have it ?

A big thank you for the Toradex team for the work they do to help us.

Hello @Samir1,

Thanks for reaching out to us!
May I know what carrier board you are using?

Hello @rudhi.tx,
I’m using Verdin imx8mp V1.1A in Yavia board V1.0A.

Hello @Samir1 ,

Could you please share that link?

Best regards,
Josep

Hello
Sorry, i meant Verdin imx8mm.
here is the link : no hdmi output

NOTE: I edited the DTS, but without touching the HDMI. is it possible that this is causing the problem?

Thanks !

Hello @Samir1,

your Verdin board (Verdin IMX8MM V1.1A) is a 2nd generation product, so it should be compatible with your Yavia board.

Which changes did you make in the DTS?

The iMX8MM can only provide HDMI output via the adapter, so you should enable the verdin-imx8mm_lt8912_overlay.dtbo to make it work.

Can you please share the contents of your overlays.txt file?

Best regards,
Josep
