Colibri iMX6ULL: Watchdog not showing as reset cause

Hi team,

A customer contacted us that the reset cause is not correctly shown when triggered through WDOG. I did this myself and I could reproduce the issue.

  1. Send echo "" > /dev/watchdog
  2. Wait 60 seconds.
  3. Board reboots but it shows: Reset cause: POR

Could this be a bug?

Hey @vorutesv , did you check in the latest BSP 6 release that there is no reset cause shown in U-Boot serial console?
