WiFi bringup on WEC 2013 with the LM006

Hi Support,

We’re currently trying to get the LM006 USB wifi module up and running on a Colibri VF61 under WEC 2013.

After installing the drivers and saving the registry, I reboot the board and try and enumerate the WiFi interfaces using the native WiFi demo app, but the interface isn’t detected. The call to WlanEnumInterfaces succeeds, but the retrieved interface list is empty. The WiFi interface also doesn’t show up in the Network Connections control panel. The LM006 being used has been tested on a normal PC and the hardware works just fine.

To the questions:

  1. Are any other registry changes required to get the adapter working?
  2. Is there a setting to enable verbose boot messages during WEC 2013 boot, so I can see what hardware is around?
  3. Is there any other way of verifying that the driver has been loaded and adapter enumerated by the OS?

Any advice is much appreciated, as always.

For completeness, here are the source files for the demo app.

Dear @Monomix,

This is probably due to the fact that the Colibri Evaluation board V2.1 not being high-speed USB 2.0 capable as outlined in the following article on our developer website.

I have tested LM006 on VF61, WEC2013, Colibri Eval board 3.1a with the same installer. It is working.
