Which branch contains the updated Linux kernel for Colibri VF50

hi, We have Colibri VF50 128MB V1.2A, running Linux kernel from branch colibri_vf, tag: Colibri_VF_LinuxImageV2.3Beta1_20140804
This is kernel is version 3.0.15.
However, this kernel is too old for our new applications. We would like to update the kernel to a newer one. Should I use branch: toradex_vf_4.4 ?
if yes, I have some more questions.
In our current implementations, we modify a lot of codes in the following file for our board:
arch\arm\mach-mvf\board-colibri_vf.c
However, I cannot find the corresponding file in the toradex_vf_4.4. Which files I should look at in this branch.

Yes, the branch, configuration and binary to be used is described here.

The reason for you no longer to find any board file specifying any platform data is due to Arm also having switched to using device tree which you may find some customization guidelines here.
