My files sometimes do strange things like directories moving and disappearing, changes made to the flashdisk not there after a reboot.
Is there a command I can send to be sure the TFAT has been updated (or a signal that the TFAT update has completed) before removing power?
I had previously erased the configblock on this module when doing other things. Apparently a side effect of doing this was that the registry would not persist. This made the DotNet install work until the power was cycled, but then stop working.
The files and directories moving are on V1.5b4, so hopefully that will not be a problem on the next release.
What is the best way to reset a VF50 back to factory condition? I used the update tool to backup the config block from another module and restore it on this module, but the DotNet functionality still does not persist through a power cycle (even though registry changes seem to be persisted now).
I must have needed yet another reboot to get things settled on the module. After another reboot and CAB reinstall the DotNet framework worked after the module was rebooted again. It would still be good the know how to get modules back into factory-like state.
