Unable to update Apalis

Dear community, I have an Apalis iMX6Q with an old linux image and I want to update it with a new BSP image.

I try to use the recovery mode as described in chapter 6 of the datasheet and using the update.sh script provided with the 2.8.5 image I was able to start u-boot, but it always return the following error

g_dnl_register: failed!, error: -19
SDP: initialize...
SDP: handle requests...

Even if I use newest easy installer and run the recovery-linux.sh script I have the same error:

Commercial temperature grade DDR3 timings.
Trying to boot from USB SDP
g_dnl_register: failed!, error: -19
SDP: initialize...
SDP: handle requests...

What’s wrong here?
Are there anything else to short circuit?

Hi @Stefano!

Did you remove jumper JP2 from the Ixora? You’ll find it between the Ethernet and USB connectors on the top side of the board.
If this jumper is closed, the module won’t enter recovery mode, so you have to remove it before doing the recovery procedure.

I forgot to remove the jumper JP2, now it works.
