Trouble flashing a new image to iMX7 for QT Development

I am trying to set up an iMX7 to accept a QT cross compile but I cannot seem to get the new image to boot.

I am following the instructions here:

and trying to use the QT5 for Xserver.

I follow the instructions and successfully create an image transfer it to an SD card, and then run the setup as described on this page:

But it does not reset.

if I reset or power cycle the board, it begins booting the Kernel but just stops at loading the USB Hub.

Have I missed a step? are there known issues?

I had the same problem, try to change fdt_file env to imx7s-colibri.dtb like:

You have imx7s solo module and trying to load device tree of imx7d module.

It appears that you have a missing config block. You may want to try flashing from scratch. Be sure to execute cfgblock create as shown at the end of the flashing from scratch section.

As @mlinar mentions, if you have an iMX7S module (as opposed to iMX7D), ensure that the U-boot variable fdt_file is set appropriately.
