This release shares the same base as that of Toradex’s other embedded Linux offerings, the BSP Layers and Reference Images for Yocto Project and Torizon.

We recommend using the latest release, version 5.5.0. For modules directly from the factory (in its first use), you can upgrade Easy Installer to the newer version using the pre-installed one without having to go through recovery mode. -
Volume products: Apalis iMX6, Apalis TK1, Colibri iMX6, and Colibri iMX7
Computer on Modules that are in volume production according to our Product Change Notification (PCN) Policy may still come with older versions of Easy Installer pre-installed.
If you are using a product in the volume phase, we recommend that you upgrade to the latest release in production programming only if it is required. -
Products in development: Colibri iMX6ULL 1GB
Toradex is developing a new version of Colibri iMX6ULL, with 1GB RAM and 4GB flash. Easy Installer supports this CoM since the 5.4.0 release. You can flash it using the recovery mode.
