The HMI development via the Qt Application on Apalis Evaluation Test Board

Hello Sir/Madam,

I am new to the LINUX world and in ringing up of the Test Board. We have purchased the hardware’s namely
Carrier Board: Toradex Apalis Evaluation Board V1.1A,
SoM: Apalis iMX6 Quad 2GB,
Operating System to be Installed: LINUX,
Capacitive Touch Screen 7" with the Capacitive Adapter

I followed the steps mentioned from the link

Step 1: Unboxing and Setup Cables - Apalis Evaluation Board : completed successfully
Step 2: Installing the Operating System - Apalis Evaluation Board : completed successfully [Toradex Embedded Linux Demo with LXDE(Stable)2.7

My reason to purchase the hardware’s
→ Need to develop the various screens via Qt
→ Deploy the Qt developed screens onto the iMX6
→ The same has to be accessed via Capacitive Touch Screen

So in regard to this I need your guidance. Do i need to continue following this link

and need to Configure Toolchain - Apalis iMX6, Build from command-line, Configure Eclipse and the rest as mentioned

If not can the directly follow this link

Thanking you in anticipation

Regards,
Amar V

As our regular Embedded Linux demo images are not Qt based you would rather need to follow this Qt getting started article:
