TEZI does not list OS image

We are Okamoto Electronics, Distributor of Toradex.
I have a bug report and a request about TEZI.

I think my customers use Distro boot for updates.
And they use only one removable media.
In other words, for Distroboot, TEZI Loader and OS image are stored in the same media.
But with both media in it, the OS image is not listed in the TEZI GUI. Only TEZI is displayed.
On the other hand, OS image is displayed on iMX7 and TEZI is not displayed.
I think this is a bug.

Next is a request.
I think there is a problem with storing the OS image in the root directory.
It is not possible to store multiple versions on the SD card.
Users may want to not only update but downgrade when problems occur.
I think it would be nice if there was a function that could divide the OS image into directories.

Best regards.

Only TEZI is displayed. On the other hand, OS image is displayed on iMX7 and TEZI is not displayed.” sounds puzzling. Could you please clarify what is displayed and when?

You can have multiple OS images in the same storage. Just put each image in a separate folder(directory).

Hi Kirikawa-san,

If I understood correctly, you can always have TEZI directly in root of the SD card to launch Distro boot.

Then have separated folders inside the SD card that TEZI will recognize. Then customers can select inside TEZI the desired image.

Definitely, having several images directly on root, all mixed is not recommended.
