T20 Toradex Linux tegrafb0 support for 24 bit graphics

We developed a T20 board with reference to T20 EVM, running Toradex Linux distribution…
We could test 18 bit tegrafb0 driver graphics through 18 bit LVDS.
We would like to update to 24 bit graphics, through 24 bit LVDS.
Do Toradex Linux distribution support tegrafb0 24 bit graphics ?
If yes, which is the required framebuffer color depth ? 32 ?

Do Toradex U-Boot distribution support 24 bit graphics ?

Thank you for your attention.

It is definitely possible and default on Apalis T30 so you may look at that one’s configuration for reference. However for Colibris this is not standard and will require a custom carrier board with resp. 24-bit capable wiring of the LVDS transceiver. As for the framebuffer configuration have a look here.

I doubt about it however it also should not matter as this is completely transparent.

You are very welcome.
