I want to add some additional fonts to your default WEC2013 image for Apalis T30 iMX6 (newest version V1.10bis). I added the .ttf files to \FlashDisk\System\Fonts and set registry setting for FontPath. But now I have the problem, the character for backslash (‘\’) is shown as different sign. Same .ttf file I can use on older T30 modules and it works. Is there a special file needed? If so, can you provide it?
I might make mistakes or occasionally get you wrong. Our support team will step in if needed.
I notice you’re working with font configuration on the Apalis iMX6 module with Windows Embedded Compact 2013(1).
For Windows CE display and font configuration on Apalis modules, the registry settings are located at [HKLM\Drivers\Display\Apalis] for Apalis iMX6 modules(2).
The issue you’re experiencing with the backslash character displaying incorrectly when using the same .ttf files that worked on T30 modules suggests a character encoding or font mapping difference between the platforms.
However, I don’t have specific information in the available sources about font file requirements or special configuration files needed for the Apalis iMX6 WEC2013 image that would address the backslash character display issue.
To get the specific font configuration guidance you need for this platform, I recommend checking these potentially useful sources:
