SD card problem with Iris 2.0

Hello,

we have been using for years in production T20 with Iris Carrier boards using Linux BSP 2.6.32 - image. V1.2

Since we moved to Iris 2.0, we have been unable to access SD cards.

Is this a known issue? Is there a way to make it work with our current operating system or do we need to update the OS?

The Iris 2.0 has an added load switch IC13 to control (enable/disable/power-cycle) Micro SD Card power using software. SODIMM_100 can be used control the load switch. Please check for details:

If I understand correctly, this requires to rebuild the image. Is it possible to only upgrade a piece of software, without rebuilding the full image?

No ! you need to build a patched kernel , only one file. And update your BSP
