Screen clone issue on custom resolution

I have toradex imx8m plus dev board and It has two HDMI port Verdin Development Board | Toradex Developer Center
The display clone is working fine on both HDMi display But the issue is when I set custom resolution on both HDMI display using vidargs (1280x800) only one display(native HDMI) showing custom mode set and another HDMI display(Not native) showing black screen with this text “Not compatible mode” .

Is clone mode working on imx8mp when we set custom resolution ?

Regarding your question, it seems like you hit one of limitation from weston which limit clone with display timings.
