which is the correct procedure to enter in recovery mode with a Colibri IMX6ULL + Viola Plus Carrier board?
the recovery pads on the module must be shorted, is correct to use the micro usb connector on the carrier board, and the board must be powered from another source? right or i’m missing something?
Not necessarily. You still can power Viola by USB.
- remove JP2 jumper
- shorten recovery pads
- put JP2 jumper back
- release recovery pads.
Or you can remove JP2 completely and use an external 5V power supply to power a board when recovery pads are shorten.
