Problem running X Server on Debian Jessie with Apalis T30

Hi Team,

I have successfully installed Debian Jessie (8.5) on Apalis T30, but cannot run X server. Has anyone was testing newest X server versions and run successfully on Apalis T30? /var/log/Xorg.0.log show errors.

uname -a
Linux apalis-t30 3.1.10-V2.6b2+g34c5824 #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Mar 30 21:15:37 CEST 2016 armv7l GNU/Linux

In X.org.log main errors are:

(EE) open /dev/dri/card0: No such file or directory
(EE) FBDEV(0): FBIOPUTCMAP: Invalid argument
(EE) AIGLX: reverting to software rendering

I would like to mention, that I managed to successfully run X server on L4T Ubuntu 12.0.4 version. In attachment you can find full log.

Our official BSP is based on NVIDIA’s latest L4T R16.5 and only works with older X ABIs and their proprietary binary X driver which is the only way to get hardware accelerated graphics/multimedia.

Alternatively you may try mainline which works with a recent modesetting X driver that may or may not be the case with Debian Jessie. Have a look at the following question for more information about how to get that up and running.
