NVFlash 2.6 Loader.nb0 not found

Hi Community,

I have issue with the last Nvflash Tool 2.6 and last WinCe image for T20 : v2.2.
APX Driver is ok and module is recognized.
Here is the output of the update.bat script.

Nvflash version 2.6 started
rcm version 0X20001
System Information:
   chip name: t20
   chip id: 0x20 major: 1 minor: 4
   chip sku: 0x8
   chip uid: 0x0000000000000000021ca145449fe3d7
   macrovision: disabled
   hdcp: enabled
   jtag: enabled
   sbk burned: false
   dk burned: false
   boot device: nand
   operating mode: 3
   device config strap: 0
   device config fuse: 4128
   sdram config strap: 0

Sending generated BCT...333Mhz Done
file not found: loader.nb0
command failure: bootloader download failed

As you can see loader.nb0 is not found… But it’s in the same folder of the bat and I’ve put a copy on the same folder of the ce6.cfg file. I don’t understand why this is not working.
Thanks a lot for your answers.

Dear @aurelien

nvflash.exe searches for loader.nb0 in the current folder. If you double-click on update.bat, the current folder is inherently set to the location of this batch file.

Try running nvflash from the command line: First use cd to change the current folder to the location of nvflash.exe, then start update.bat or nvflash.exe.

If this doesn’t help, please explain your setup in more detail

  • Which PC OS version are you using
  • In which folder do you store nvflash.exe ?
  • Do you keep exactly the same folder/file structure as you can download it from our developer pages?
  • How exactly do you start nvflash? (Double-click on what, or which command line arguments, what is your current folder in the second case)

Regards, Andy

Thanks your help @andy.tx .
nvflash from command line is working.
