Maximum Single Channel LVDS Resolution on Verdin iMX95

What is maximum resolution supported by the Single channel LVDS on Verdin iMX95. on the SMARC imx95 datasheet it lists 1920x1080p60 for each of the LVDS channels. is this the case as well on the Verdin iMX95 ?

Yes, the Verdin iMX95 supports the same maximum resolution for single channel LVDS as mentioned in the SMARC iMX95 datasheet (1). According to the Verdin iMX95 datasheet, the LVDS interface supports 1x up to 1920x1080 resolution (1).

The Verdin iMX95 features dual LVDS channels (Channel 0 and Channel 1), each capable of supporting up to 1920x1080 resolution (2). The LVDS interface can be configured for different modes:

LVDS Configuration Options (2)

  • Single channel 16-bit
  • Single channel 24-bit
  • Dual channel 16-bit
  • Dual channel 24-bit

LVDS Pin Configuration (2)

The Verdin iMX95 provides comprehensive LVDS connectivity through the X1 connector with dedicated pins for:

Channel 0:

  • Clock lanes (LVDS0_CLK_N/P)
  • Data lanes 0-3 (LVDS0_D0_N/P through LVDS0_D3_N/P)

Channel 1:

  • Clock lanes (LVDS1_CLK_N/P)
  • Data lanes 0-3 (LVDS1_D0_N/P through LVDS1_D3_N/P)

The active data lanes depend on the selected data format, with different combinations used for 16-bit versus 24-bit configurations in both single and dual channel modes (2).
