Marble Maps Library

Hi.

I have Qt5 software with marble library. https://marble.kde.org/

I am interested in running my application on a toradex imx.6q with linux. Is it compatible or should I install libraries manually?

In the shop where you tell me the cost of shipping?

Tanks

We have never tested Marble maps but it seems to be available in OpenEmbedded. OpenEmbedded setup would be required as per the article, adding the meta-qt5-extra layer and then building marble. Note that one would require a Qt5 image. Also see here.

Once OE setup is complete, the layer can be added to “build/conf/bblayers.conf” and adding it to “build/conf/local.conf” as below

IMAGE_INSTALL_append = " marble"

for building with the image.

The question is compatible to what. Our regular Embedded Linux BSPs use LXDE which is GTK+ rather than Qt. However you may either use Qt for Device Creation or build your own Qt image as outlined in the following article on our developer website. You may also have a look at our partner network where several companies are offering further services in that respect.

At the time of Checkout you should see that under Order Summary.
