M4 EIM stop working after Linux Boot

We managed to run the EIM on the M4. However, after the Linux is booted, all pins are driven to ground and the bus goes silent. We are using a custom device tree with the weim (@0x30bc0000) “disabled”.

We are booting the setup with:

fatload mmc 0:1 ${loadaddr} demo_m4.elf
bootaux ${loadaddr}
run ubiboot

Is there any configuration remaining to be made to the EIM?

In the M4 side we are taking the pins exclusively through the RDC.

We suspect the Linux is changing the iomuxc of the eim pins. Can we take iomuxc just from the eim from the device tree?

We solved by changing the “imx7-colibri.dtsi” (not to be confused with “imx7d-colibri.dtsi”) in the following lines:
