Linux image with RT kernel to Colibri iMX6 4.9-1.0.x

Hi, I downloaded the toradex_4.9-1.0.x-imx from git repo, so I want to build this Linux image with real time kernel to use in Colibri iMX6.
Can I apply the latest linux-rt-lts patch directly to it or I need some rt recipe ?
Can you help to build an Linux image with RT kernel from this version to Colibri imx6 ?
