Link for accessory kit come with Ixora carrier board

Hi,

Please provide us the details of list of accessories that we get when we buy Ixora carrier board. Can you please list one by one?
Also please provide the hyperlink.

I was looking at Unboxing and Setup Cables - Ixora Carrier Board and a bit worried.

Also please confirm, is there any possible way to communicate to PC other than IDC-DB9 cable?

Thanks,
Sridhar

Dear @sridhar.jonnavittula ,

Thank you for contacting the Toradex Community!

The following flyer gives a list of all the Acessories you would need for your Ixora Carrier board:

The Carrier Board Accessory kit comes as one single package and you can order it in the following link:

IDC- DB9 is the way to communicate with the Ixora and it is the recommended one.

Thank you and Regards,
Janani.

Hi @saijanani.tx ,

  1. Is connecting to X22 mandatory or can we use X21 UART2 instance also?
  2. Can a USB FTDI cable with four pins(RTS,CTS,TXD,RXD) be used?

Thanks

Hi @sridhar.jonnavittula

Is connecting to X22 mandatory or can we use X21 UART2 instance also?

X22 is our default UART-1 Interface for debugging. But you can use the UART2 too, you just to change the console output to a different UART as explained here.

Can a USB FTDI cable with four pins(RTS,CTS,TXD,RXD) be used?

For UART2 yes, for UART3 no, since there are only two pins (TXD, RXD) available on the connector X21.

Jaski

Hi @jaski.tx ,

Could you please prefer USB to RS232 6 pin cable for UART1 instance(X22) from any manufacturer for our kitting?

Thanks,
Sridhar

Hi,
I don’t understand your question.

Best regards,
Jaski

For UART1 is RTS/CTS is enabled or disabled by default and how to know that?

Thanks

Hi

As described in our article about UART, RTS/CTS is enabled for UART1.

Jaski
