Hello!
I have hdmi display with 1440x540 resolution.
Whet i try to connect this display to Toradex T30 i have kernel crash.

How i can fix this?

Dear Toradex,

Do you have the same issue for other modules like Apalis iMX6 working on Ixora Carrier Board or it is just the issue of Tegra T30 board? Is it somehow related to the carrier board?

This patch will fix the kernel panic:

However the 1440x540 resolution gives aspect ratio of 266.(6) which is unsupported by the driver.
You can try modifying drivers/video/tegra/dc/hdmi.c to either disable aspect ratio test in function tegra_dc_hdmi_valid_asp_ratio of add another aspect ratio to a table tegra_dc_hdmi_aspect_ratios and see if it works regardless.

I add apcept ratio to array. This fix kernel crash.
But in list of resolutin added strange resolution 256x160 and X server starting in this resolution at first time. But after reconnect HDMI the resolution setting been ok.
I patch file “drivers/video/tegra/dc/hdmi.c”
change line 1311
