Internal Wifi driver Module crashed in long run test

Hi team,

We put the imx6ull module on long run test without anything connected to WIFI.

After sometime (2-3 days) we found wifi driver crashed log in dmesg.

We are using backported driver for chipset ( mwifiex_sdio sd8997 ).

Can you tell me what is the issue here ?? why wifi driver module is crashed ??

What changes have you done for the compilation of your custom image (local.conf, …)?

4.9.144-2.8.5+g5758a8e

It looks like you are using the 2.8b5. This version is not supported any more.

Could you update to the latest 2.8b6 and check if you still see this issue?

We are using rocko branch for yocto image.
We did not plan for updating it so, we are using BSP 2.8b5 .

Could you update to the latest 2.8b6
and check if you still see this issue?

I seen issue in bsp 2.8b5 in long run test only for once. In other module it didn’t happen yet.

Check my distro.conf and target file for more information. link text

Thanks for the files.

As I wrote Bsp 2.8b5 is not supported any more. Could you install a regular Bsp 2.8b6 and check if the issue is still present
