Hi, I am very curious about experience/knowledge regarding interfacing to CMOS camera modules via MIPI-CSI (usually involves I2C as well). I saw references to an OmniVision sensor but looking into using Sony IMX219. However, any information would be much appreciated, as we’re at the early stages of considering a Toradex SOM and would like to estimate feasibility and the associated effort. Thanks in advance!

We don’t have any experience with the Sony iMX219.
The effort on Hardware side will be connect correctly the Sony camera to module by either using the Ixora or Apalis Evaluation Board.
On Software side, you can to integrate this driver in the Linux kernel. Additionally you would need to change the device tree.
