Installing OpenCV Issue

I am facing an issue in installing OpenCV in Apalis iMX6.
I am following steps from here
In response of :

root@apalis-imx6:~# opkg install opencv

I am getting this error:

Collected errors:
  • opkg_prepare_url_for_install: Couldn’t find anything to satisfy ‘opencv’.

Dear vkpanchal, what Linux version are you using? Do you have connection to Internet in the board?

Hello

OpenCV is no more included in the regular Bsp from Version 2.7, but you can build it yourself using the OpenEmbedded Build or use Bsp 2.6.
