I was previously using the IMX7d and was able to run all the application’s that i wanted on the device. I recently purchased an IMX8 and was trying to run it using my same colibiri eval board, but nothing showed on the VGA output. I tried to et enter bootloader, check serial output, enter recovery mode. I wasn’t able to get anything from the board. I plugged my old imx7 into the board and now I no longer am able to use it anymore. The RESET OUT# light stays high and i think that has something to do with it.
Please doublecheck if module inserted fully in the X1 SODIMM connector. Also check if there is no debris there.
If nothing helps you can fill this RMA form and send modules and a carrier board back to us for testing/replacement.
