IMAX8 recovery mode

Hi:
We are using Apalis IMAX8 system in our system. In the datasheet, it only mentioned the recovery through USB port by using external host computer. I wonder if it’s possible to recover the system using SD card? When entering into recovery mode, does it recognize the SD card?

Our Apalis iMX8 modules fused to boot from USB in a recovery mode.

Thank you, so the SD card can only be used in normal boot sequence then.

A Bootloader (U_Bot in our case) should start from embedded eMMC. Then bootloader can load k)OS image from any available storage - eMMC, SD, USB, network.
