i 'm using iMX6S and i need to use one of i2c in slave mode for some reason. My question is, does the module support i2c in slave mode and how can i also change it in kernel and dft?

The linux kernel got extended to contain I2C slave functionality.
Have a look at the following talk.
However, according to the NXP documentation the driver does not support slave mode which then would not allow to use above mentioned slave functionality.
