How to install U-BOOT & Kernel image without SD Card for Apalis family with NVIDIA core

Dear Toradex Team ,

Could you please let us know if its possible to programme & update the UBOOT & KERNEL of APALIS
family ( with NVIDIA ) core without using SD Card .

We have used Apalis iMX6 and updated the files using SD card , but lately our hardware team is planning
to drop the support of SD card totally .
Hence we wanted to know if there is any way to update uboot & kernel files of SOM by any other procedure
