How to configure the WIN CE7 Keyboard "Input Panel"

Hello,

the built in Software Keyboard is really small and appears almost always on the wrong place.
Are there some options to configure the “Input Panel”?
Is it somehow accessible by vb.net?

There are several options to solve this issue:

  • Program your own large input panel based on the MSDN documentation (source samples are part of Platformbuilder source).
  • There are third party application that could do the job, for example the Resco mobile forms toolkit.
  • If you build your own image, there is a component called SYSGEN_LARGEKB. We have this feature as an CAB installer as well but currently only for CE 6. If you add this feature under CE 7, you would have to purchase a license upgrade as this feature is not in the C7NR license we provide with the module.
