How to change the resolution on the Colibri iMX7

I have just purchased an iMX7 with a 7.0" EDT and wanted to change the resolution from 640x480 → 800x480, but have been unable to find any documentation for the iMX7 specifically. Is there documentation, or is there a chip that would be best to use as a guideline? (iMX6?)

We are still in the process of updating all the documentation for the newly released Colibri iMX7. The LCD display timings can be set in the device tree. Note the comment that the last entry is the one used by the driver. As such, move the #if 0 past the WVGA Timing (EDT ET070080DH6) entry.
