Hello,
How to change keyboard to “QWERTZ” in Toradex Console Linux ?
Thanks.
Hello Pavel,
when you are using the console Image you are usually using a Terminal program on your host computer. Which one are you using. So you should be able to change it on your host computer or in the terminal program.
Hello Matthias,
For the moment this post is no longer relevant … because having no answers on my questions concerning image that was installed at that moment (i.e. Embedded Linux Demo) I switched to another one (Toradex with Containers). With this new image I am hardly more lucky than with previous: this time I can’t enter to system.
Returning to your question I don’t use terminal, but local display that is connected to HDMI port of the board and keyboard/mouse over USB port.
You say “… So you should be able to change it on your host computer or in the terminal program.”
Here I don’t understand at all what you propose. It’s somewhere in Linux configuration of iMX8, that I should change keyboard, not on my host machine !!!
Well the normal way is that we connect the debug UART to the IXORA carrier board.
And then you use a terminal program on a host machine.
