At verdin carrier boards Toradex uses the HDMI2C1-14HD signal contitioner. But this IC is no longer available. There is a HDMI2C1-14HDS available which seems to be similar but not a drop in replacement. Is there a schematic with HDMI2C1-14HDS or an other IC available?
Yes, in the Yavia carrier board schematic you will find a discrete ESD solution.
