Gtkterm no output

Hello, when I connect the board with the module to host computer(ubuntu) I get no output in gtkterm. what could be the problem?

Could you provide the version of the hardware and software of your module?

Did you follow the getting started guide?

Which UART converter are you using?
Could you share pictures of your setup showing all the necessary connections as Power, UART between carrier board and your host?

Thanks for the pictures.

Unfortunately the connection on Iris carrier board side is wrong, the red cable showing Pin 1 should be on left side, near to the RJ45 Connector. Could you do this change and check if you see an output on the console?
