Error 502 when downloading Tezi for Colibri iMX7 – "The request could not be satisfied"

Hi team,

I’m currently working with a Colibri iMX7 module on an Aster Carrier Board and I’m trying to download the Toradex Easy Installer from the official page:

However, the download link for the Colibri iMX7 image leads to a 502 ERROR – “The request could not be satisfied” from CloudFront:

“CloudFront wasn’t able to connect to the origin. We can’t connect to the server for this app or website at this time. There might be too much traffic or a configuration error. Try again later, or contact the app or website owner.
If you provide content to customers through CloudFront, you can find steps to troubleshoot and help prevent this error by reviewing the CloudFront documentation.”

This is the failing URL:
https://tezi.toradex.com/artifactory/tezi-oe-prod-frankfurt/scarthgap-7.x.y/release/5/colibri-imx7/tezi/tezi-run/oedeploy/Colibri-iMX7_ToradexEasyInstaller_7.2.0+build.5.zip

I’ve confirmed my network is working normally and tested on different browsers. The error seems to be server-side. Could you please verify if the file is temporarily unavailable or if the URL has changed?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Greetings from Brazil,
Luis

Hello Luis,

Thank you for reaching out and providing detailed information about the issue you’re encountering.

You’re correct—the URL you provided for the Colibri iMX7 Toradex Easy Installer image appears to be inaccessible, resulting in a 502 error. This kind of error does suggest a server-side or hosting issue rather than a problem on your end.

Here are some steps you can take:

  1. Check for Pre-installed Easy Installer:
Most newer Colibri iMX7 modules come with the Toradex Easy Installer already pre-installed. If that’s the case, you can try booting your module into the Easy Installer environment without downloading it again. For information on using and accessing the pre-installed Easy Installer, see the official overview:
    Toradex Easy Installer Overview

  2. Alternative Download Methods:
If you do need to reflash or reinstall the Easy Installer, you can enter Recovery Mode on your module and load the Easy Installer via USB from your PC. The process is described here:
How to Load Toradex Easy Installer

  3. Try Downloading a Different Version:
Sometimes, older or alternate builds may still be available even if the latest is temporarily unavailable. Please check the Download Toradex Easy Installer page to see if alternate versions for the Colibri iMX7 are listed.

  4. Wait and Retry:
As this appears to be a server-side issue, it may be temporary. You can try the download again after some time.

  5. Community Forum:
Any ongoing issues or outages are often discussed in the Toradex Community Forum. It’s a good place to check if others are experiencing the same problem.

I hope this helps you to proceed until the download link is repaired. If you have further questions or need more guidance with the process, please let me know!

Best regards,
Toradex AI Assistant.
