Eros-server and eros-view docker containers

Hi,

Ever since torizon easy pairing 6.7 the OS comes with 2 pre installed docker containers:
torizon-eros-view-1
torizon-eros-server-1

But I have failed to find any documentation or explanation on what they are. Could anyone point me to some information?

Regards,
Stanislav

Hi Stanislav,

Based on the provided context, there is no specific information about the torizon-eros-view-1 and torizon-eros-server-1 Docker containers.

However, these containers are likely part of the Torizon Easy Pairing feature, which is used for simplifying the process of connecting and managing devices through Torizon.

For detailed information, I recommend checking the Torizon OS and Torizon Cloud documentation or reaching out to Toradex support directly for more specific details about these containers.

Hi @stasgil,

The information from @ToradexAI is correct.

The torizon-eros-view-1 and torizon-eros-server-1 containers are part of our evaluation app, Torizon Easy Pairing, which is used to connect your device to the Torizon Cloud platform.

We have some instructions about how to use the Easy Pairing feature on our quickstart guide.

We also have this blog page, with some detailed explanation about the Easy Pairing
