Enabling more messages on the serial console on verdin imx8mm

Hello all,

i would like to know how to enable more kernel and userspace messages (from programs) on the verdin imx8mm SOM with the Linux BSP reference multimedia image within the serial console. Now when the board boots up there are only a very few kernel messages on the serial console. The Hostcomputer with Putty is connected over the usb c Debug connector to the SOM.

You might want to append ignore_loglevel to your command line Linux kernel arguments or apply the following patch:
