In the process, we have encountered a potential administrative issue.
In our operation, the person in charge of administration may change.
If the person in charge changes, it may be necessary to change the email address settings for the account.
For this reason, we checked to see if the account email address could be changed.
I went to personal info in Keycloak account management to check the operation to change the email address and name.
After saving, I get the message “Your account has been updated.
When I check, I see that my name has been updated, but my email address has not.
The UI itself allows the email address to be changed, so I am assuming there must be some condition.
Would you tell me if the email address cannot be changed or if there is some condition to change it?

It is possible to change the email address associated with an account. But this is something that must be done via request to our team manually. This is due to security reasons and all this change affects in the backend.
It is highly suggested to create a generic company email address to associate with your account rather than a specific person’s email address. For example like “torizon-cloud@mycompany.com” That way even if your administrator changes or leaves the email address itself would remain the same even if the person behind it changes. This would help alleviate future need to change the email address again.

I’ve got the full information I needed.
I have been proceeding a preliminary evaluation for the actual operation and have received a request to include other members of the group in the evaluation.
The purpose of my question was to ask if I could change my account to a group email address and continue the evaluation with the group members.
I will consider registering with a group address at the time of the actual contract.
