EDT 5.7" TFT VGA with Apalis IMX6

Hi community

I am user of Apalis IMX6 and i tried to work with EDT 5.7" TFT VGA Touch screen. I have a carrier board called as Ixora V1.0A and using as master Apalis IMX6D 1GB IT V1.1B. It have Linux Reference Multimedia Image 5.3.0.

I have readed some articles;

https://developer.toradex.com/knowledge-base/installing-edt-display

https://developer.toradex.com/knowledge-base/display-output-resolution-and-timings-linux

and that screen’s datasheet.

I couldn’t make a clear sense

Then I tried some commands as;

setenv vidargs ‘video=mxcfb1:dev=lcd,800x600M@60,if=RGB24’

setenv vidargs ‘video=mxcfb0:dev=lcd,EDT-WVGA,if=RGB24’

then when i boot that device “dmesg | grep fb” output were nothing.

How can i use this screen as touchable and with customizable resolutions?

Hi @erdemkahraman

Thanks for writing to the Toradex Community!

Regarding your question, in the newest Bsp we are using devicetree overlays as documented here. Could you check if this is done correctly in your case?

Best regards,
