DTS for IMX8MP 2GB/4GB

Hello Toradex Team,

I hope you are all doing great!

We are about to order new SOMs for our next product and we would like to reduce some cost with the SOM. We need less memory than before, so going from 4 → 2 GB. But I just want to be sure that nothing will change for my DTS and I can flash the same OS that I have now.

Can someone confirm that the those 2 SOM can run on the same DTS without any changes:

  • 0058 Verdin iMX8M Plus Quad 4GB WB IT
  • 0064 Verdin iMX8M Plus Quad 2GB WB IT
