Hello together

I’m currently taking some first steps with the Builder Tool, and the easy installer. I have build a custom image and now want to intall it onto the device (offline install).

I formated a usb stick with fat32, put the image on it (the complete unpacked folder), loaded the easy installer directly onto the SOM, but the easy installer doesnt see the image on the stick.
I tried this first with a default image which I downloaded, so im sure its not a error in the image i created.

I choose the EtherCAT image.

When I hit “Mass Storage (u)” in the easy installer it will emulate several usb sticks and I dont know what they are there for. If I hit it again they disappear. I tried most of the buttons but it 'just doesnt want to see the image on the my USB stick (a physical one i put into the carrier board).

Can you help me?

We have the " High-End-HMI mit Wi-Fi-Starter-Kit" with:

  • Verdin iMX8M Plus Quad 4GB Wi-Fi / Bluetooth IT
  • Dahlia Carrier Board with HDMI Adapter

You can only install an image compatible with your module. And Acontis currently has no pre-built image for Verdin iMX8M Plus that you are using.

lease try an image built for the Verdin iMX8M Plus.

Thanks for the info diddnt see that. Now i tried directly with my own image as IMX8Plus doesnt have a lot of out of the box prebuilt images which seem to work.

Actually I did want to use a standard image because I was unsure if mine worked and therefore I first tried with the provided ones -.- what an ironie mine worked now directly…
