Device tree for Colibri i.MX8X with Colibri Evaluation Board v2.1


we are currently using a few custom-carrier boards based on the design of the Colibri Evaluation Board v2.1 (e.g. using the SJA1000 CAN controller on the carrier board). Now we wanted to evaluate, if we can migrate to Colibri i.MX8X modules with Linux.

  • Is there a reference image for the i.MX8X + Colibri Evaluation Board v2.1?
  • If building my own image via Yocto (using machine colibri-imx8x), are there device-tree-bindings available for the Colibri Evaluation Board v2.1?


Hi @oklemencic , Colibri Evaluation Board v2.1 is already EOL and we don’t support it on new modules. Colibri iMX8X has native CAN controllers so SJA1000 is not required.

I know that. But I thought it would still be possible.
But anyhow, I found another way in the mean time.
