Hi toradex community,
I’m working for a procedure to install a custom BSP on an Apalis IMX6 thanks to toradex-easy installer. To ensure I will not have to rewrite this procedure multiple times, I would like to know what is the Toradex policy regarding pre-provisioning of Toradex-easy-installer on the boards.
Do you still install the same version of the software ? Or do you still install the last one ? How will this evolve in the future?

If you archive a local copy of toradex_easy_installer, you can always push the same version to the board as your first setup step.

Thanks for using the community.
In most situations Toradex installs the Toradex Easy Installer V1.8 on the modules. If you want to know for sure, which software is pre-installed on your module you can look this up on our developer page.
If you go there and look for the revision history of the module, you will see a column stating the pre-installed software.
