I am have to make a custom lvds cable such as the one provided with the Capacitive Touch Display 10.1" LVDS. Whenever I google to buy 30awg wire I only find solid color cables. Im looking for the cables that are multicolor e.g. red/white, green/white… not just solid green. Is there a specific name for this type of cable. The closest I get to what I need is googling twisted pair however I dont need everything twisted . I need straight wires. I pan on twisting whatever I need on my own.

Hello!
When connecting the LVDS cable for the Capacitive Touch Display 10.1" LVDS, it interfaces with a 40-pin LVDS connector. For proper setup, you’ll need to ensure the following connections:
LVDS differential pairs for data transmission
Power supply connections
Ground connections
While the documentation does not specify wire colors, it is important to note that the LVDS interface requires differential pairs to ensure proper signal transmission.
Here are some key specifications from the documentation:
The display utilizes an 8-bit LVDS interface.
The LVDS differential voltage range is between 100-600mV.
If you need more detailed pinout information for making these connections, feel free to ask, and I can provide those details.
Try searching for cables with multi-color conductors.
I need straight wires. I plan on twisting whatever I need myself.
Please keep in mind that LVDS stands for Low-Voltage Differential Signaling, and it is highly recommended to use stranded differential pairs for signal integrity. If you still prefer to twist the pairs yourself, you can simply order a set of single-conductor 30 AWG wires in different colors.
Thanks this seems to lead me in the right direction. The name I think I was looking for is multi-core. You can search wires based on core count and awg e.g. 25 core 30AWG.
If creating a cable without a pvc jacket one only needs to twist the pixel data wires, you can leave the power, ground, scan direction control, & brightness dimming wires straight. However if you want a cable to have a PVC jacket youll have to buy a cable with everything twisted. This is the easier way to go and has a cleaner look.
Hey @alex.tx you were able to help in a previous thread. I am making a cable to connect my Ixora to the display in the image below. Do I leave my displays Scan Direction Control unconnected? Also for my displays pins 1 & 2 you mentioned that I should connect them to pin 32 on my Ixora. Do they not need separate power sources? If not how should I go about doing this should I terminate 2 wires to one terminal?
The picture you shared is not easily readable. Could you please provide a link to your display’s datasheet or upload it directly here? >> Do they not need separate power sources?
Separate from which power source?"
Yes, you need to connect both pins 1 and 2 of your display to pin 32 on the Ixora X19 connector. You can tie pins 1 and 2 together on the display side and use a single wire to connect to Ixora.
Pins 31, 33, 36, and 38 on X19 are used for the touch interface, which is not applicable in your case. Pin 37 is used for backlight control (ON/OFF), which is also not supported by your display.
